    Default school credits

Ok, in the US school is ran off credits, and you need 21 to graduate.. not like in the UK.

I have 3 at the moment since I started in January (I was only here 1/2 a year so I got half credit for all of my classes)

I can pass school without taking any A hours or summer schools, but there is no room for failure if I do, and i'd also have to take a full schedule till I graduate with sucks.

I'm wondering if its worth trying to contact my old school in the UK and try to get them to "give me credit" for the 2 and a half years I spent there.
My mum said it's not worth it, because schools in the UK don't work that way.

I'm wondering if it's worth it, it'll be a lot of work to get them, so i'm not going to try if I don't have much of a chance.

What are your opinions, what should I do?

try ringing your old UK school, nothing to loose, apart from the cost of an internetional phone call..

Even though schools in the UK aren't based on credits, it would still be worth a try phoning your old just to see what they say, maybe they could send your work over and then your current school mark it or something. Try speaking to the support staff at school and see what they say

hmph that will be an issue...

I burnt my school work/books/reports pretty much everything when I left, (my dad was burning his bank details etc. in the back yard, I was going to bin it all anyway so I thought it'd be more fun to burn it)

and again, its a different marking system but i'm sure it can be done, my dad had his highschool grade from n.ireland translated when we came over.

Haha, i'd laugh if I got all of my credits since year 7 tranferred, which I doubt will happen, that will mean i'd have 15 credits, plus the 3 I already have, and i'd only have to take 3 classes next year and then I could graduate LOL.

Well good luck whatever you do

When you graduate will there be a big ceremony and that like you see in the sitcoms - they look really good and the parents all look so proud - it would be nice to have them in the UK !
