is this normal?

like, recently, i've not wanted to be in ANY serious relationships and I don't want to be tied down by someone (and no, that doesn't mean that I want to sleep around either)

but srsly, I don't think that's normal for my age, i'm 14... to be honest, i'd be perfectly happy if I never met anyone and just had friends till I die...

I think I like my own space a little bit too much.... is this normal? And should I try to stop "liking my own space"?

(i'm not saying by liking my own space that I never go out, because I do... you get me?)

i used to be like that. not in a ****** way or anything but i didnt see myself with a long term boyfriend and i felt as though if i got a boyfriend it would tie me down and id have to spend all my time with him. but ive been going out with my current boyfriend for the past year and even though its not like mega serious, its a lot more serious than i thought id ever do. its nice to always have someone there and it might sound silly but hes like my best mate aswell as my boyfriend?!
i guess it is pretty normal for your age but i think when you meet someone it will probably all change anyways. at the end of the day your only 14 just take it as it comes :]

idk, it's just when I imagine my future I never imagine a guy in it... I want to travel etc. and if I get a guy who doesn't want to do that, then that's limiting what I can do. I just don't like the thought of being in a relationship.

But wouldn't let them get in the way of my gap year travels and stuff in a years time...
