It had the potential for a battle of legendary proportions: Charley and Laura clashing in the bedroom.

Charley was still sore about the mystery of the disappearing hair straighteners and decided to pick a fight, but Laura wouldn't be drawn.

"I'm not even gonna discuss this with you, it's pathetic," she said calmly while drying her hair.

"Don't shout at me Laura, don't raise your voice trying to play Miss Innocent. You're the most two-faced person here," spat Charley.

Shocked, Laura laughed at Charley's accusation.

"You're so two-faced," shouted Charley, now in full flow. "I know the kind of games you play. Everyone can hear you whispering. Think what you want 'cos I couldn't give a s***. I'm done with you."

Staying calm in the face of adversity, Laura didn't bat an eyelid. "I'm glad," she said, "'cos you argue with everyone that likes you."

"You know what," screamed Charley, now widening her net, "I feel sorry for the lot of you, man, I feel sorry for the lot of you. Except for the newcomers, who seem like the only genuine people who ain't chatting out of their a**es."

"Yeah, but they haven't seen the real you," quipped Laura - a move not unlike throwing a stick of dynamite on a bonfire

"I'll tell you something Laura," retorted Charley, "look at me now, I'll tell you what, I'd rather be at home with my boyfriend than sit here with a bunch of ******* weirdos."

A lesson to all - DO NOT touch Charley's hair straighteners...
