Xbox 360 Elite. [Are you getting it?]

Simple as. Are you getting one? I might trade in my PS3 at Game and get a 360 Elite.



And with a massive 120GB Hard drive!

since the start of the year[/URL] when it was codenamed the 'Zephyr', the Xbox 360 Elite will update the 18 months old console with new black styling, a 120GB drive, HDMI port (with bundled cable!), wireless black controller and black wired headset.
The big news for us however is the Elite will be a permanent top tier product, not a limited edition as previously thought. In the US it will retail for $479 (£244) which, fingers crossed, will mean a sub £300 UK price tag, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it sneak a little over. The downside to this strategy is the price tags on Core and Premium versions will stay the same (for now, at least). Still, Microsoft does offer some compensation to existing Core and Premium owners since the Elite's 120GB HDD will be available separately for $179 (£91)

If not, I may just buy the Hard drive seperately.

Yes, I don't have an Xbox360 so I think (and alot of people on forums) think I should get an elite if i don't have a Xbox now.

I'm working out atm how long it will take me to save up, so far i'm upto september, but I get £150 for my birthday (december, I hate it because its so near to xmas) and I can't have it for xmas because i'm getting a TV to *hopefully* play it on!

I just recently bought a new 360 cos the ones I was getting replaced by Microsoft kept going wrong after a couple of months, so I won't be.
