    Default New 'Top Story'

We all know she is coming but this has just been placed on the homepage..

Lonely? Scared? Angry? Embarrassed? Abuse can affect people in a lot of different ways. It’s not always easy to know if you or someone you know is being abused but the important thing to remember is that no-one has the right to hurt you or make you do anything that feels wrong.

If you or someone you know is being abused in any way, then the most important thing to do is speak out – tell someone about it. You don’t have to hide it.

Over the next few weeks right here at Habbo Hotel, we’ll be holding various events and activities to get you guys on board to speak out and help put an end to abuse.

    Events and Activities

Claire Cooper, star of TV Soap Hollyoaks as Jackie, will be visiting Habbo on Monday 18th June from 4pm. Claire Cooper is a celebrity supporter of the ChildLine Don't Hide It campaign and she will be inside Habbo Hotel talking to Habbos about the Don't Hide It campaign between 4:15 and 5:00pm. She will also answer a few questions you may have about her career and role in TV Soap Hollyoaks.

Claire Cooper will begin her visit in the ChildLine Zen Garden from where she will visit a number of other Public Rooms. We will announce via a hotel wide alert which other Public Rooms Claire is visiting during the live visit. Make sure you are logged into Habbo Hotel between 4 and 5pm on Monday 18th June to ensure you can see the hotel wide alerts!

We will be publishing more information about Claire Cooper and full details of her visit to Habbo Hotel (including photos from the London Sulake Office!) in the Entertainment section soon!

    Hear My Story

    Tanya

“He’s nothing like my Dad. He’d pick on me all the time and call me names and criticise me. I was so depressed. I‘d cut myself to feel better. I was desperate. I didn’t want to hide it anymore. I had to tell someone.”

You can hear Tanya’s story by clicking her Habbo.

    Paul

“Everywhere I went they seemed to be there. They made my life hell - calling me names, hitting me, stealing my stuff… I hated my life. All my mates were scared and would avoid me at school. I couldn’t hide it anymore. I needed their help.”

You can hear Paul’s story by clicking his Habbo.

    Charmaine

“I’d come home, open the door and it would start. Always shouting at me. Always blaming me for everything. She’d use anything to hit me with. I didn’t want to hide it so I ran away. That’s when I called…”

You can hear Charmaine’s story by clicking her Habbo.

    Danielle

“I really wanted to tell my Mum but I didn’t know how too. How could I tell my mum I was being sexually abused by him? I didn’t want to split up the family, but I couldn’t hide it anymore. I was so desperate. I had to talk to someone.”

You can hear Danielle’s story by clicking her Habbo.

    Darryl

“My parents were always out – mostly down the pub getting drunk. That’s where all the money went. There was never anything in the house. No food, sometimes not even soap. I didn’t want to hide it anymore but who could I tell?”

    IMO, they're fake.

Anyone could make up a soppy story about how they were bullied, although im totally supporting this NSPCC-Childline campeign.

I was bullied and NSPCC helped it "get better"
