I have yet to visit this site, and I was wondering. Could anyone please tell me like, a lot about RuneScape? Just how to get started, what you do, the plot, the goal - stuff. I'd gladly add a pos. rep as thanks in return. :eusa_shif

The main thing is to get all ur lvls up to 99 and become the highest in the game which is very hard. There is also quests you cna complete which can gain ur lvls ect get u money or items. You also get armour rune being the best it is the same with the weapons. There are also threee types of things you cna play as there is the: warrior , he/she uses a sword to kill and armour. There is also the ranger who uses bows n arrows and wears dragon armour . aND LAST but no least there is the mage who casts spells to kill other things(expecive)

If you want you can add me on runescape my user name is: dhranged, adn :nick andy!
    good luck!

    My Explanation
    Okay,
    So basically your register your character's. I recommend a good name and one you will like for ever. If you decide you don't like your name you won't be able to cross over your long, hard earned skills. When you enter the game for the first time, you will be in a place called "Tutorial Island". This is a place where it will tell you the basic controls of the game, ie Firemaking and most of the non-members skills. When you come out of tutorial island, you will be in the town of lumbridge, this is the the place you will return to if you ever die. The first decision you will have to make is what genre of character you would like to be, here is the three explanations ;

    ¤Ranger¤
This character uses a bow and arrows to inflict damage on the oponent. This character can also use throwing knifes and javelins. The bows are generally very cheap considering the other genres. The arrows can be dear, but half of your arrows when shot can be picked up again. When you become a good archer you will buy better range armour, dragon armour. This is made from dragon hides and comes in 4 different colours; [In order of how good they are]
    ¤ Green - Level 40 Range
    ¤ Blue - Level 50 Range
    ¤ Red - Level 60 Range
    ¤ Black - Level 70 Range

    ¤Mage¤
This character uses runes and staffs to cast spells to damage the oponent. The staffs are generally cheap until you get into some of the members only ones. The runes are very dear. Most runes are between 6-12gp each and you may require four runes to cast one spell. When you get to a level 30 mage you need chaos runes for your spells costing 100-110gp each
There isn't many mage armour but there is Splitbark armour made from bark from hollow trees, but most of the non-members wear robes.

    ¤Warrior¤
This character uses weaponary and armour to attack the oponent. This is quite a dear skill all round, at the start it isn't that bad. But when you get to my level it's very dear. ie. Heres what I wear:
¤ Rune PlateBody, Rune Full Helm, Rune Legs, Rune Scimmy = 190-200k
    ¤ Mystic Gloves 'n' Boots = 10k [Members only]
There 200,000gp spent.. There is lots of different kinds of weaponary and armour. What there made of determines how good they are. Here is a list in order of badness with worst at top:
    ¤ Bronze
    ¤ Iron
    ¤ Steel
    ¤ Black
    ¤ Mitheral [Mith]
    ¤ Adamantite [Addy]
    ¤ Rune
    ¤ Dragon [Super Dear]

When you have decided on what type of person you are going to be its enterirely up to you how you play the game. You could never train up any skills or you could try and train up your woodcutting to level 99 [top level]. There's also lots of quests for you to do and lots of friends to be made!

Righto Well u most people dont pick mage... Most people i know don't like splitbark. You need to be about lvl 70 to have enough money normally. The odds are 1/200 Lol.. Not my fault if i'm not the bestest guy here lol.

I just started playing, and Tutorial Island was all good, and then I got to "the real world". I had all these items and stuff and then a lv.7 Farmer killed me. Lost all my items (except the weapons/shield). Was in a state of shock. Now I can't mine, fish, or chop down trees, make a fire... Tons of stuff I can't do now. I have only 1 coin which someone dropped and I scrabbled after it.
But I must say I was suprised at what people drop. First, a Brown Shield, (the rectangular kind), then a Staff (A guy sent spells after me when I picked it up), and like 12 stones used to make spells. I've found a lot of Burnt Meat, too.
