Finally got ahold of 6k cow hides
Paid 100-110 each for most except for last 3k nub wanted 150 so i did it
I was desperate
But meh
After i tan em
Im making 6k coifs then selling to shop Then ill have 61 crafting

Try champions guild. They sell them there so it might be their "speciality" shop.
