    Default My Friend Want's Something

My friend said today something that I'm worried about... really worried about.

Just before I explain the situation, let me take note, his parents want him to be 'perfect' he has 3 brothers and now I think they just want someone that is 'perfect'.

I really do think this, hell I've heard them saying in the Kitchen when I'm at his house

''He got a 5A in Science today"
"Yeah, he'll have to do better"

    Anyway...

Today at School he has said

"My Dad wants me to be fat"

Now this is really serious because he is only 12 and you can't increase your weight by just eating (thats the stupid way)

So I replied " Isn't that gonna damage your health " and apprently he went home for lunch, came back after he told his Dad about what I commented.

"My dad wants you to apologise for what ya said"

I didn't apologise and now we're not friends anymore, anyway I did say earlier that nobody can get fat by eating loads when they are 12.
I think his Dad has told him to gain weight quite a few weeks ago, when I saw he has 2 packed lunches.

I fear his choloestral levels and blood pressure will increase and may lead to heart disease and diabetes.

I really need help before my friend is hurt any more.

well you cant really do anything besides talk to the parents - which they proberly wont listen to by the reaction to his dad, or talk to one of the teachers at school who you think would be a good listener. the parents seem to controlling of your friend, and if you do fear his health could be in jeopardy, i think you should actually call someone like childline, social services or an organisation like that as his parents may be harming their child by mentally (by telling him that his grades are not good enough and that he should do better - even though 5A is quite good for his age, i think) and that forcing him to eat more to get fat, thats just stupid.
