Advice Pls? Combat skills

Currently im looking to get my range to atleast 80+ im 72 atm.

I started this account to be a tank but so far im 40 def and finding it pretty darn good . I was thinking about getting def 60/70. Any suggestions on how i can improve my skills to become atleast a semi decent tank/ range pker? +rep for all helpful advice. Also best places to train, f2p would be more helpful as i may be quitting mems soon ty. I'll Be trying to train my def with melee and range (obviously) With range, using bronze arrows.

trade on guards? get range to 80 and def to 70.

mm guards seem like a pretty good training idea. pretty easy to kill and quick XP. Thanks for The advice =]
