The school isn't closing because it is a bad school. It teaches really well, infact about.. 10 people from my year went to the school i'm at now and about 7 are in high sets out of like 10. It's closing because there are not enough pupils going. The school can hold 657 pupils to be exact but the highest its had since about 1998 is 450. If you didn't know, the school gets a thousand odd pound for every pupil that attends. Because the school wasn't getting alot of pupils, it was losing money every year. From 2005 we only had 50 pupils in Year 7, and we were in debt of about 100,000 pound, if they kept the school open in about 2009 we would be in debt of 1,000,000!

Ahhh, I see. I've never heard of the school before, so sorry if I sounded a bit dumb.
