I moved to Spain in October, and started school in November. Now, in England I'd be a year 9, going into year 10 in septemeber. However in Spain, I'm going to be kept back a year, due to me not speaking fluent Spanish yet, but I'm being kept back with some friends so it's not too bad.

In England it's Year 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 Spain it's 8, 9, 10, 11 Because they start have an extra year in primary school, I think.

So, have any of you ever been kept back? Means I'm gonna leave school at 17, darn.

There's a kid in my school that was held back 2 years last year, so he'll be leaving when he's 18 lool.

Does suck a bit I could, there are many, but then it would cost a lot and I wouldn't learn Spanish as fast. I'll have learnt to speak fluent probably by the end of the year, hopefully cos I speak decent now.
