    Default Laura's 'offending' language

Right, so tonight we saw Laura use the word 'poof'. As most of us know, this is a slang word got homosexual, and at times can be used to offend homosexual people.

Do you think Laura should of been punished for her use of words? Should she of recived the same treatment as Emily? Views and opinions people

    Depends.....

Nowadays alot of people call people 'gay' or 'A poof' as an insult.

This can be meant as a joke, Or as an insult to a homosexual person.

Can be dealt with 2 ways..

    Punished or warned

    My 2 cents

At the end of todays programme she got warned for it. She said she didnt mean it offensivly but could see where some people can be offended by it.

she wouldnt have recieved the same treatment as emily as the word emily used and the word laura used are offensive at different levels (to some anyway). i think a warning, which i think she recieved is a good enough punishment for laura.

Like dirty said, the word Emily used was alot worser then the word that Laura used, so she wouldn't get removed from the house, just a warning which she got.
