Installing the blizard patches I need help.

Ok yesterday I went to the mall and brought the original world of warcraft disks and a 60 day game-card I installed the disks and i set up the game card, now whenever i press WOW on my desktop it goes into it i have to enter my name and pass, i do that then it says it has to load " Blizzard downloader" its done it 2 times I am on my 2nd one at the moment. is this normal? and how many more will it ask me to download?

Would really appreciate it, if you helped. Thanks

this is normal. There is loads of updates to download. Think it taken me about 4/5 hours to download them all . But it will be worth it .

ok Thanks guys and yes i just finished downloading everything and now the realm's are not showing is it down for maintenance? im so annoyed i want to play it now lol..

so are they down for maintance? if so do you know how many more hours for as I live in Australia different timezone
