    Default Email Scams

Email scams aren't as common as Pass/Furni scams, but they still exist.
    These may include the following:

    1. "Change your email to [email protected] to get free credits"

Similar to the password scam, and it has the same effect too. After doing this, the scammer will use the 'forgotten my pass' link on YOUR account. And of course, they'll use the email addy they just asked you to change it to. Which results in you losing your account/furni/friends..etc

    2. "Congrats, you've been chosen to become a Hobba!!"

One peaceful day, you check your Email Inbox..
Omg!! It's that email you've been waiting for!
You've been accepted to join the Hobba Team!!!
You read on... strange, it asks for your pass..
    Then, it hits you.. SCAM!!
You're gutted, it wasn't real.. your dream cruely fades away...
This scam is downright cruel, especially for those who wish to become Hobbas.
Again, just remember that Staff will NEVER ask for your password!

    3. "I have a cool program that gives you free credits!! I'll need your MSN to send it"

This 'cool program' is more than likely a key-logger. 'Free credit' programs DON'T exist. Read on..

    4. Giving out your Email address

Always remember, keep your personal details, PERSONAL! You don't need to give out your email address, simply use your Habbo Console! It wasn't created for show! Giving out email address's leads to Habbos get 'hacked', so why do it? Keep your details to yourself!
