Well I have'nt had a girlfriend for over 2 years now.
I'm 14
& I dont think im bad looking, not meaning to sound arrogant.
Could you check this.. via myspace.
What you cant see is im 5ft 10 nd high end of 9st is that fat?
it's just annoying.
i have such bad self confidence & asking a girl out really puts me under pressure.
& my past choices havent been that great...
nd I dont want a repeat of those.
I keep got told by some girls im more friend material than boyfriend
there are a couple of girls I like but I dont want to ruin our friendship..

I know I'm not a girl, but I was reading this thread because I was bored, for one, nine stone ISN'T fat, I wear 10 and a half stone, and I'm skinny as anything, through having a very high matablism (sp). And most girls who I know have said the same thing to me, more of a friend and that, but now, I ahve a wonderful girlfriend So don't get yourself down mate.

Maybe just get know the girl and maybe drop hints that you like her, and would like to be more than a friend. And sayin you have 2 girls you like.. maybe focus on one. You will probably put more effort into it.
But.. not being funny but your 14.. you shouldnt be worrying about girlfriends the best relationships are out of the blue.. dnt force yourself into one just cause you want one.

Back when I was a wee nipper, around your age, I used to fancy someone who was my friend. I asked her out, in a rather stupid way, and we didn't talk for about... 45 minutes. After that, we just went back to being friends, but it turned out to be more than friends, and we'd randomly do things, such as hug, "touch" each other (not rude) and on the occation kissed - But, with all that said, we never dated. After I asked her, we just became even closer. Friend with privlidges, if you like?

As everyone else has said. Have a bit of confidence in your self. It does attract girls. Definately.
And I think the reason why they say you're more friend material is probably the image you give when you meet them. Girls can tell if a guy wants to be more than friends from the minute they meet so maybe you should take that into account.
And also, You need to do what I need to do. Extend your frienship circle. Cause all the boys I know are good friends so I wont be getting a boyfriend any time soon. I was thinking of going to this club Stairways but cba..

Uhm well some lads aren't flirty enough so that sometimes gives the impression they're more friendly than sexy. Might be your problem?
Or this might sound rate gay but..
Some girls are like in to the "bad boy" types, and if you're really nice and kind and whatever (which some girls would jump at) other girls also see that as a sign of more friendly rather than sexy.
I'm not saying you need to get the motorbike and leathers out but like if you are over-nice, try being a bit more "mean keep them keen".
