Need help getting online.

I'm preparing for my PS3 in October, so I thought I'd orginise the online part of it, trouble is I can't find the right things....

Right now my computer runs from the NTL box via a Ethernet cable, it has a built in modem. I have already purchased a netgear router, but I need a modem that can have ethernet input.

Any recommendations?

The PS3 comes built in with an ethernet socket and i t has built in wireless.

If you're using wireless all you need to do is set it up under settings -> Network Connection

NTL was absolute hell for me. I had to ring them up and get them to come and do it, as they had to authorize it or something.
