RS Down - Whats going on?

RS is down and so are the RS forums :S.

The game just cut whilst I was doing a quest. If the servers got cut off, I think all the last 15 minutes worth of activity are lost..hope not .

I think this happened only once since I started playing RS years ago.

Apparantly, all worlds has 0 people playing, and no one is on runescape
this true? coz it does show that to me.

Dont worry every1 is saying the main server are being updated totally and should be back in like and hour.

This hasnt happend since bout 2 years ago.

I think if there was an update they would tell us much before it happened and have the 2 minute count down. None of this happened which suggests to me a technical issue just appeared out of no where and the staff are all asleep (weekend ).

Whats strange is RSC players that were logged in weren't affected. I can't even log in RSC cause of login server being down .

Good thing the web server is still up so we can get news when staff are alerted .

What do you think Jagex are doing to the game? Updating it with what features etc?

This is definitely not an update my friend. Its a server issue.

If they are doing updates they would never do them unexpectedly and pull the plugs in the forum and game and log in servers.

Second, they never ever do updates on sunday unless is a major bug to fix. They would never ever pull the plugs like that, they would put a count down and the forum / site would have news on it .

I would be shocked if it was.
