The statue of liberty's head looks really small though. Is it just me? It's only about as wide as the street and can't you go inside it in real life? It looks the right size when it hits the building though. :S

that the explosion was some sort or cluster bomb or a pod which launched the smaller explosions we saw as a way of deterring anyone or anything wanting to investigate. Possibly some sort of alien probe or the next generation of terrorism. HOWEVER someone in the crowd said 'It's huge! It's alive!' which makes me thing it is aliens or maybe some sort of robot (Robo-Godzilla? lol)
