If I wasn’t all man, I
might have shed a single tear (because I’d still be 99% man) at the outpouring of
emotional goodbyes people wrote on my behalf yesterday. Of course, I’m a complete stoic, like John Rambo being tortured for information. I give nothing away, except
3 free months of Habbo Club to
–Dispirited-, apolla05, Freebird35714, ericrios, and Authentication! for their touching sentiments as I leave.
But really, the one that I thought nailed exactly how I felt (as well as the tone of my writing – sorry, I’m a snooty artiste, even about my silly 1980s pop culture jokes) about leaving you all today and saying goodbye was

won her a year’s worth of Habbo Club:
Dear Habbo:
It is with a heavy heart and sticky keyboard that I say farewell to you. From the moment I first logged into your vast server, touting myself as the undisputed Heavy Weight Champion of Totally Nerdy Trivia, I felt at home. I felt that a vital part of my life had finally come to be. It wasn’t always a smooth ride. Who can forget the frightful beginning to the Year of the Boar? It is with my trusty Wiimote at my side, that I will leave as loudly as I came. No, I will not be Shot Down in a Blaze of Glory, nor will I ever wash this pink shirt again. Heavy is my heart for it will never again feel the rush of winning a Falling Furni game... nor will I feel the joy of being the last Habbo to Hit the Wall. Never will my pinkness dance through Club Mammoth, getting my groove like Travolta in Saturday Night Fever while I dodge hundreds of friend requests from young Habbos just wanting to be able to say that I was on their friends list. As Carol Sobieski said in Annie, “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” And now, it is with a single tear in my eye, much like Linda Hamilton as she watched Arnold lower himself into that vat of molten metal at the end of Terminator 2, I bid adieu to Habbo.

I always wanted to go out like a
John Hughes romantic comedy from the 1980s. I would make an excellent Molly Ringwald doppelganger, don’t you think? Anyway,
it’s been a blast, jokers. Thanks to everyone for reminding me of the good times I’ve had here. My only regret is that
I didn’t crush Kedo and take over the Hotel when I had the chance. Hopefully somebody will arise in the next week and fulfill that dream of mine.
