Tbh, Its not good to download it, As theres always something wrong with it.
Buy it is honestly your best option, And if you do find a link form a microsoft website, Youll only get 2 missions and 2 planes, and a 2hr trial.

It is easier though to buy it as usually when downloading games certain bits will be missing, part of a map/soundtrack or some minor detail.
