the school are going all posh

mobile phones/mp3s/etc (or PED [personal electronic devices, ooer get them] as they like to call them) are banned in school buildings

you have to STAND WHEN A TEACHER ENTERS THE CLASSROOM. how bloody patronising

theyre like gonna cry if you wear the wrong uniform. if it's wrong they send you home to change it and if it can't be resolved that day they put you in isolation. WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH THEM???? THEYRE TALKING TO US ABOUT WASTING EDUCATION TIME THEN THEY GO ALL TOUCHE ABOUT SOME ******* UNIFORM!!!!

we have to be "formal".

and then we had a 50 minute powerpoint about consequences of breaking these rules:
stage 1: detention
stage 2: head of subject detention/after schools
stage 3: internal exclusion
stage 4: external exclusion

but if you get to a stage and you complete it, you go back to stage one (sounds like a bloody quest).

and all the teachers are like 'ooh ponsey ponsey'.

That's sad, I agree over uniform, perhaps if they sorted out the idiots rather than people who aren't wearing a blazer because of the heat then we'd get somewere.

I really couldn't agree more. you have idiots going round punching people (ie. me) for "no reason" who get two day exclusions, and then you can get excluded for one day for wearing a t-shirt under your school shirt :S
the school also looks like a dump - to be fair to them they have been doing it up but they should atleast make the place look nice before trying to make us 'presentable'.
Also, it's never going to work.

my schools being doing all that for like 2 years now, everyone still uses their phones/mp3s in class though. they will be strict about it the first 2 weeks then they will just get bored with asking someone to put their phone away then them getting it back out when the teacher leaves.

At my school they take uniform real serious. We have mall unform cards, if you get 10 ticks you get enterd for a prize, if you get 5 crosses you get a senior leadership detention i have 5 crosses. its uny when you get a corss the teahcers think that people care if you get all crosses we just laught in there face and get another, good times!
