Meet Flik




I have had hamsters before, all of them have been so friendly except our last one who just did not stop stabbing me with his fangs. He really made me quite worried about picking up hamsters.

I got Flik about 4 weeks ago now, and he has showed no signs of being agressive, I feed him from my hand and I can stroke him.. but I am absolutley petrified of picking him up...

What can I doooo?

All you can really do is keep handling him, If you want to handle him but dont want to get bit i suggest using a glove however he could still get you lol


Dont handle him throguh the day to start with as they are nocturnal, but has he gets used to being handled you can start making it so hes awake at day and sleeps at night!
