I did that so that those damned BOT advertisers don't keep posting
I can always change the forum too, not too bothered.

Bots can't sign up if you enable the security check on the IPB Sign up.

In ACP:

Goto Tools & Settings > Security > Enable Captcha? Normal. Then make it so guests can view posts.
