    Default What games to get?

    Hey,

I am a bit new to PC Gaming so I was wondering what games to get etc (and which ones you would recommend) I was thinking about :

    - Counter Strike
    - Flight Sim X
    - Battlefield 2142 & 1942

But the only thing is, I hardly know anything about games like Flight Sim and CS. What do I need to play them? Can it be done with just a Keyboard and mouse or is it better using a joystick?

I like a varation, and I do love the travel and avation world. I have never really played a Flight Sim game but of what I have seen there is nothing like it.

Yeah, I like playing Battlefield, Not because I like to just shoot the people, its because I can strategise what I am doing. So any Sim games and Strategy games are ones I am mainly looking at but I want to look at all genres as they may appeal to me.

well its up to you really, whatever you feel you want, but I must say, if your getting flight simulator, only get X if you have a really good graphic card and computer, otherwise get 2004.

Okay, So my slightly revised list is :

    - Flight Sim 2004 (Im pretty sure my new computer could handle X but I would be better to be safe than sorry )

    - Train Sim

    - Counter Strike

    - Battlefield 2142

    Anything else you would reccommend?

EDIT : Also what is best for playing games like Flight Sim? A keyboard and mouse or a Joystick?
