It is yes, the digital camera I bought 3 years ago is 4.1 mega pixel and was the best at the time, I can't believe they are already up to 10 megapixel. The only thing I don't like about that camera is the shooting speed, 3fps. If you intend to do a lot of video on it then it's not great for it but if you intend it for normal use then it's above par.

I suggest you get a cheaper one for personal use, unless you are really into taking pictures, its very expensive! Anyway, its great.

I am quite into taking photos like, What about this one?
Would you say thats more worth the money?
And would it be good for taking like loads of pictures in a row?
Because i will be using it for lots of sports so i would need that feature, also im guessing i can add like a better flash, and lens etc?

For personal use, even if you are interested in elements of photography, I wouldn't buy a highly expensive camera at this moment in time.

If I was going to be honest, for the price you could get a better mpx rate. I think if you look around a bit more you could get it up to 12 or even 13. You'll notice the quality.

I believe my friend has a new camera, it's 10mpx and cost him around £100, but I think he got it form Ebay. Check there.

I have Canon EOS400d 10.5 and has a great shutter speed.

I would never, never buy a camera without testing it out first. Jessops will beat any online trusted UK site, print of the best price you find and they will match it and maybe give you a better deal. Best of all you get to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about and test it out.

Just remember with a camera make sure you dont budget just for the body - remember you have to pay for lenses that can cost anything from £75-£3000+

When you buy online like that you dont know what your getting and its very hard to find the best deal as each one offers different lences, memory etc.

    hope that helped
