umm could anyone tell me how I can get images on my myspace in sections like 'heroes'

upload the picture onto an uploading website, copy the HTML tag and paste it into the heroes section?

The only way i've done it is through imageshack.
Maybe try another uploader , if not im not sure what else there is.
