The Darkeness [Worth buying?]

Thinking of buying The Darkness for PS3, but just wondering if its worth buying...like, it is any good?

It is quite a good game (Download the demo and have a look) but from what I have been told it might have quite a short lifespan (Gets repetitive) but dont take that to be fact

But yeah, It does look like a good game.
