Default [Ben] How To Set Up A Radio Station

Here Is A Step By Step Guide On How To Set Up Your Very Own Radio Station.

    1) Buy Or Get Free Webhosting.

You can get hosting from many websites. I've been looking through tones. For great uptime i prefer Apthost.com. Prices are really cheap. Press Here.

    2) Install A Dj Panel.

You can get DJ Panels from anywhere on the internet these days. But most popular radio sites like habboxlive and habbohut make there own. (From what i know) Press Here to see a list of radio dj panels that you can use.

    3) Buy A Shoutcast Server.

Once that is all done, you can now buy a shoutcast server! This is the main connection from sambroadcaster to the internet. Prices range from 25p to £50. It depends on what your looking for. Press Here to browse through Crisphosting shoutcast prices.

    4) Hire Djs

Now, your at the point that you need radio djs to broadcast music on your radio station. If i started a radio station and i was looking for staff i would make a thread in this section. (PRESS HERE) requesting djs. Always give starter djs a fair chance. everyone starts somewhere, right?

    5) Have A Launch Party To Promote Your Website.

Launch party! ok, this is the most fun you'll ever get! Try doing a give away and saying you'll open up if you get 50 listeners or something that means people will actually invite, not say they will and don't.

I Hope this has helped, if you need any sort of help please PM Me

If you need help with furniture for give away's, ill chip in some furniture

    Best Regards,

    Ben Williams

:S You kind of missed out coding, graphics and everything else needed to make a decent site, but yea, its on its way to becoming a good guide.

You also missed out the fact you've got to pay around 8p for every song you play on your radio due to copyright laws

If found out to not have, you can be fined. *yawn, the fine is about £50 lol. Hmm... 100 songs, or a fine? HMM...*

    Anyway, yeah, I like it.

    Default ok

Ok, that guide is for a radio station, not actually for a full layout radio station.
