Post New PS Blog- Week 35

    Heres the link: http://www.habbo.co.uk/help/ps_blog/week_35_07.html

    colmc's lost his bloggers

    Hello Habbos!

Yes, it's been a whole week since the last PS Blog. The Bank Holiday has made it feel so much shorter though!

You'll notice we're still short a few PS Bloggers; Akela! and Disarno are busy, busy, busy doing mails and have had no time to write a blog, while Heidster has most inconsiderately decided to take some time off! Imagine! I wonder who told her she could do that? So, we're back to full strength in Player Support where it matters - dealing with your emails. Hopefully next week we will have a few more bloggers too!

As Akela! isn't able to blog this week, she's asked me to let you know that she will announce the winners of her CAT-ION competition on her next PS Blog! So stay tuned for that if you've entered!

This week I did an interview with Universe and Archivist for Habboglobe.fm, one of our Official Habbo Fansites!. The Fansites owners and members put so much work into making really cool sites, that I really don't think they get the applause they deserve! So why not check out some of the sites on the list and pay them a visit!

If you haven't checked out The Weekly Habbo this week, I suggest that you do. It's always full of what's hot, and what's not - and news about the latest events, competitions and furni! If you want to hear something about Habbo, you'll hear it first there! I bet many of you didn't know that you can even get your Habbo news on your computer desktop though the wonders of a technology called RSS! Check out our mini-guide to what RSS feeds are, and how to use them - and you could have you Habbo news even quicker than ever!

So that's it for me for this week! Hopefully we'll be back to full strength next week and filled to the brim with PS news!

P.S. (geddit?): Did you know that the PS Blog is now over one year old! I can't believe we didn't mention it on time! We're so bad. Belated happy anniversary, PS Blog!

    0rca's Whale of a Week

Guess who’s back, 0rca’s back, back again!

Yes, yes, yes I know I have been off more times in the past few weeks than I have the entirety of my whole employment of Habbo, what with bad backs (no I’m not getting old!!!) and holidays. You will be pleased to hear I do not have another holiday booked now until October, and I do not plan on being ill again at all this year! *touches wood* I think I have done well though, in all of my nearly four years at Habbo I have had no more than two weeks off sick, I personally think that is pretty good going don’t you?

So, I haven’t written one of these in a few weeks now, so I need to let you catch up on my news, well… what news do I have? Hmmmm not much lol! I know Toadflax told you about my new rabbit; well we don’t have her yet as we are still in the process of building the new home. Well I say we, I actually mean Mr. 0rca and my father in law, I have been supervising though!

The little lady we are getting has had lots of homes; apparently people don’t understand her temperament and think she is aggressive, well what woman doesn’t have a split personality? We have the right to feel how we feel and act on it, don’t ya think? Anyway I am taking Otus over to meet his new lady friend in a couple of weeks, and I was told yesterday that I have to leave him there for a week. I was sat there stunned I mean a whole week! What will I do, I can’t stand leaving the kids at the vets, let alone somewhere for a whole week.

I am sure Toadflax will enjoy the mummy time, but poor little Otus. The thing with bunnies is they should be in pairs as they are not usually single animals in the wild. They do crave the companionship, but do not get on with strangers. So we can’t just go and get the new lady and plonk her in to the hutch, it is a long process of making sure they get on, supervising play and breaking up scraps. Hopefully once that is done, they will fall in love and live happily ever after. Anyway as you already know the hutch is a three tier hutch, well it is actually two and a half as the top section has a food storage compartment. So we have the bedroom at the top and then two play areas underneath, with lots of jumping room. I am not sure if any of you have seen rabbits when they are excited but they do this thing called binkying. This is when they run around, jump in the air and do a twist, usually hitting something on the way down. It is basically a jump for joy. Some bunnies do it when they are scared too to get away from anything that might eat them. Anyway there is enough headroom for them to perform this little trick, which is good. Once it is finished which I hope will be soon I will post a picture for you, as we are quite proud of it. It would have been easier to buy a new hutch, but they cost like £350 for the size we have made, where as this one in total cost about £200 so I think that’s a bargain, plus we can say we made it, well I say we, it is all my idea!

During my holiday I didn’t do that much to be honest, I didn’t go away as we have the kids, so I caught up on all things housework *yawn* and did all the menial errands like car MOT and boring things like that. Apart from that I had a nice week off, very relaxing, which is what I needed. We got a new game called Surfs Up and it is my new addiction. It is very funny and very addictive!

I am back in the swing of things in Player Support and have caught up with all of your emails so we are all back to how we were – Excellent customer services, come on admit: it we are good!

Anyway I best get on and get this sent before colmc mails me to hurry up! I am always late with my blog... He should expect it by now!
