Habbowood Digital Movie Awards

Join the fray of wannabe movie stars with the Habbowood Digital Movie Awards, the largest moviemaking competition over the internet! Everyone can create a free digital movie and participate to the competition. That's how you do it:


Log in with your Habbo (if you don't have a Habbo yet, create it here!)
Shoot a movie with the awesome Moviemaker
Get your friends to rate your movie and push it to the Top Ten list!

Every day at 5:00pm BST the Habbo Staff will select one movie from the Top Ten list. The movie will then be a Nominee for the final victory of the Habbowood Award!


How to promote your movie and win!
Use the MovieMaker’s sharing tools to promote the movie online and get friends to log in (only logged in users can rate a movie) and push it to the top!
Promote it with your Habbo Hotel friends! Every working day until September 14 there’s a new chance to make it to the Top Ten Nominees, so it’s never too late!

Thanks Lostie, well competitions, a new look Theatredrome, fame and glory are not the only excitment the Habbowood awards bring us, there is also now Habbowood Furni! This lovely and exciting new range brings the glamour of Habbowood right to your door, you can create your own walk of fame or have fun playing bouncer with the red ropes! Theres also a lovely Starlet style mirror, just the thing for use when applying your greasepaint for a night on the stage or your lippy and lashes for a night on the town!

There are also a massive new selection of cool Habbo Homes stickers (including a FREE animated Habbowood logo sticker!) available so your Home can keep up with the glamour and excitement thats sure to be coming to your rooms this fortnight. Make sure you make the most of it, Habbowood Furni can be found in the Habbowood section of your Habbo Catalogue but it won't be around forever, so grab some glamour while you can!


Yet more excitement as the Adventure Story Finalists will be announced tomorrow at 12.30BST (Voting ends at 12 noon) the finalists will then be put before a Panel of staff and one Story will emerge to be crowned our overall winner. Sadly it will be a very difficult decision as the standard of our stories is just so good, almost too good. Can someone make a story that helps me decide? (See how I've come to rely on you all?) I'm not sure real life books will ever been quite the same for me!

Grandfather's Clock has now sadly left the catalogue to tick-tock back into our lives at some point when we really need a little bit of extra romance, or to turn back time (fancy partying like it's 1899..?) Speaking of partying... Don't worry - I remember my promise, a treat for all Habbos will arrive late this week and if I can tear myself away from the Habbowood movies being made we might even party like its ... 2007 then. So watch this space!


Lastly, congratulations to all our Murder Mystery Play writers and performance groups - your badges are winging their way to you now. And all of the talented Habbo's whose work was featured in our Front Page over the past fortnight will also find they have a brand spanking new badge on Wednesday!
