Design comments

Hey,

I just started on a hosting sites layout but I need some ideas for it.

The current design is:


(The green star thingy is not gonna be on the real thing )

So yeah, any ideas and/or comments?

At the top, You can see the gradients.. Otherwise, nice and +rep. xo

I also think the tabs could be improved.. Its certainly not you're best considering what I've seen.

1) tabs
2) content area
3) footer area how it is filled with title

Actually, at closer look Simon.. This is FAR from your best. The advertisement box sticks out alot from the top gradients leading to content area.. Once again with the gradienting, I think its too strong, as you can see the colours dropping down into lighter/darker shades.

The gradient is because of the GIF Quality silly

Also, I got bored so just added content/tabs and a footer.

It doesn't look like a hosting layout, where are the packages? Normaly people put the 3 packages on there first page to get more buyers, also I think you should improve on the tab.

I think you'll need to spread first. Also, you can see the Gradients because of the .GIF quality. Upload as .PNG simon!

I don't think the font on the main body text is quite right - it'd be better if it was something smoother like Verdana. I really like the logo, but the font on the tabs, once again doesn't look quite right, but I can't think of anything better right now. Also, the font on the green bit doesn't look right to me

So basically, I like it, apart from the fonts
