Well, there are the playstation community's, The xbox gamertag things and i figured why not post your steam ID

If you do not know what Steam is, It is VALVe's online shop, game launcher and with the latest updates a community.

You can talk to your friends in your games, and add non steam games to the launcher list. Here is what it looks like with the default skin.



I have not blanked out my ID (top of page) as this is what this threaad is about. You can add friends using the friends button down the bottom.

Also with the new updates, Is the "gameoverlayui" which can be a bit of a memory eater, but if your pc is good then there is no problem. By pushing

SHIFT + TAB

You can open up this overlay in any steam game. And you will get this menu, as shown in Garrysmod 10.



You can also set up your own groups, A bit like Habbo groups. But more grown up, This groups you can organise events that will update to everyone in your group, customise your groups page and more. The same can be done with your profile page.

Here is mine, Not very good because I am busy at the moment. (I have blocked out an offensive word)



As you can see, It even tells you what game that person is playing, And have long they have played it in total.

If you are interested in steam you can download it here, however the games do not come with it, You buy them off the store, unless however, they are 3rd party mods. But some mods need the games in order to work properly.

Garrysmod is a physics sandbox for the source engine, It is what Halflife 2 runs on.

You can take objects, weld them together and other stuff and create anything (within reason) that you wish.


For example someone has made a huge walking collossus (spelling?)

I know im double posting here but for a couple of reasons.


1: Who the hell minus repped me for this thread? Seriously.

2: I want to keep it alive as it took quite a while to get al; my info and images.
