Maybe it was scheduled maintenance from the data centre on the server. I do no think Habbox deal with the server directly, I'm under the impression they pay for the server maintenance to be handled separately. Does it matter exactly what the hardware change was, it's probably just upgrades to make sure the forum(s) run more efficiently?

IPMI card wasn't working properly so they had to fix it. It's the management protocol that allows the server to be accessed in specific ways, even if the host operating system is crashed.

A typical use for the IPMI is a reboot of a locked up server, without having to send a physical data center technician over to push the button.

Data center is where the servers (ie hxf server) are put .
