Default [Guide] IRL Trading, Paypal, Ect. [Guide]

    Hey Everyone,

I've recently been asked to do a guide by a few people so here it goes.
The main points I'm going to be talking about are Paypal and IRL Trading. Hopefully this guide will help all of you understand the scams and risks of these types of trades.

    PAYPAL:

There is a huge chance you are going to get scammed using paypal. If a person charges their money back saying they didn't receive virtual gold, there is nothing paypal can do about it. If you call paypal and ask about it, they will just blow you off. Don't try it, it's a waste of time. Here are some tips for you guys.

    * Make sure the address/phone number matches what the buyer is telling you. Make them confirm every bit of their account. CALL THEM AT HOME! If you call them you can contact them if they charge back. Always ask if their parents are okay with them buying. If they refuse to let you call check on yellow pages or whitepages or whatever you guys have to find people where you live to check if the phone number matches the address assigned to the paypal account. If they are inelligeble, they better be your friend or have a really good story to why you should trust them.

*THE OL' CLAIM AND CANCEL METHOD!

This method no longer works. Stop using it. If someone claims and cancels, they can still file an unauthorized transaction on paypal. Your best bet is to use Western Union or E-gold ^^

    * Get to know the buyer/seller first

Sometimes I talk to people before I sell to them about how I got little kids in trouble by calling their house and talking to their parents. ALOT of buyers backed out because they were afraid I was going to call their parents. Make sure they don't say anything dumb either. If they mention chargebacks, they 95% of the time charge it back.

*Have them include that they have receive what they asked for on the message before they send their money on paypal. Don't EVER put runescape or anything referring to Runescape or anything referring to Runescape in the name of the paypal message. Remember when you do this, both of you are breaking laws.

*If a seller offers an outrageous price, don't do it. They want to draw all of the buyers in. If they have an amazing price and they will go first 9/10 times a scam. Watch out for this. Be cautious and make sure you listen to every word your buyer/seller says.

    IRL TRADING

The best way to avoid the banning of your account is to simply not trade!
For those of you who are stubborn, here are some ways to avoid bans.

*Don't EVER give your name out on a post, outloud on habbo, ect. when you are trading.
*Don't say habbo on runescape (EVER)

*When you are trading on runescape, make a great story to why your giving the gold to the buyer. Ex: "Here is the money I owe you", "Donation to you getting 99 cooking goal" Ect. Make a good story up!

*Don't say "SAFE" after you do a trade :\ Just self explanatory

*Change your IP address. Want to know how? Google it

*Don't use the same account 50 million times for trades. You will get banned. Have different accounts. (5-10 at least)

*Dont trade behind lumbridge castle or Upstairs Varrock West Bank.

Hopefully this guide helped all of you. Be Safe!

    Nice guy bbz.
Isn't it better to do duel arena trades though? Or do you have 5-10 members accounts?

Whether you duel or not doesn't matter. I've seen 3 cases where they've gotten banned. The duel didn't seem "Realistic" and in the past they had many trades with big amounts on the accounts. Dueling would cost you more, but is by far the safest way to trade. I recomend killing yourself on a noob in a dungeon with only you and the seller. The money will be "looted" and Jagex can't do anything about it.
