Default New sub forum wanted and some more ideas.

Can we have a banned/unbanned sub forum in habbo news? they seem to take up half of the news forum.

When 2 threads are created about the same time could you just merge them instead of locking one? its ok to lock one if its posted much later but put a link on the locked one to the correct thread.

I think it would be a good idea to have a super mod or admin moving threads to more appropriate forums or at least make sure mods actually do it? . i know in the discuss anything its about anything but surely if its about a car it should be in vehicle/transport? if not then you may as well remove the vehicle/transport forum. its the same with random stuff posted in habbo news when really it should be in anything about habbo.
I think people post in the habbo news and discuss anything instead of where it should go because they usually get a better response to their thread.

The above are just examples and not aimed at anybody and im sure if you search my threads i would be guilty of it at some point as well

That idea was suggested ages ago. Super Moderators just dont do it. It would be great if they did, but they dont.

perhaps i will have to report each thread that should be in a different forum it would keep them busy.

http://habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=399809 - Should be under Vehicle
http://habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=399616 - Should be under Technical Problems
http://habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=397929 - Should be under Technology Discussion

Just went in the discuss anything forum and found that.
There are way too many breaking the rules. That forum either needs more moderators / or more super moderators need to pay attention in that forum.
I found them on the first 2 pages. They have been there for nearly 10 days. How the hell can Moderators and Super Moderators say they do their job well :S Obviously they dont.

Also I think that these sticky threads in Discuss anything should be under "Advertise your site."

Top 3 Most Visited / Used Sites.
    Post your Youtube URLs.
    [OFFICIAL] Post your Myspace url.

Maybe change the "Advertise your site" to "Advertise a site here"

Simple solution to this, use the report thread feature.

It's not viable for the Smods and Mods to check through every thread and post on the forum. If you simply report the thread thats in the wrong section it will be moved for you.
Can we have a banned/unbanned sub forum in habbo news? they seem to take up half of the news forum.
My view is that banning and unbanning is not news in anyway, unless its a staff member or very famous habbo. These threads should be reported and they will be moved to a more appropriate section of the forum such as "Bobba" or "Habbo in General".

When 2 threads are created about the same time could you just merge them instead of locking one? its ok to lock one if its posted much later but put a link on the locked one to the correct thread.
In the case of multiple threads on the same topic created in a short space of time, these are sometimes merged. It all depends on how many replys are in each thread. Say for example one thread was made with a certain topic, then a second was made 5 minutes later on the same topic, usualy the second thread will have reply's such as:

"Already a thread on this here:...."

    or

    "Already Posted"

In this case the second thread will be closed, not merged as there are no useful posts on the topic.

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectivly. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves.

Super Moderators don tneed to read the threads. I am sure most super moderators visit the "Discuss Anything" forum. All they have to do is look at the thread title. Thats what I did for the 3 exampled I posted. If not super moderators, then the forum moderators should - otherwise they arent doing their job properly.

People can always psot about bans under Bobba section seeing as that's what it's for / if someone popular gets banned they can post it under anything about Habbo , Most people post any thing in the discuss section 'cause they're lazy like me and can't be bothered to find the right section :p
Also usealy you are more likely to get a reply in the discuss anything section.
Tbh make me a Smod so I can moderate all sections :eusa_whis

Actually, we let people post a thread where ever it makes sense even if its not the best place and it has been like this for a year or so.

For example if you want to talk about cars, you can do so in the general forum or in the vehicles forum. Different forums usually have a different audience.

If however a certain forum is filled with threads that would be better off in another forum, they are then moved there.
