Okay I am getting a kitten at 5:00pm today, and I was told not to take her outside for six months. Is this true, and am I not allowed to take her outside AT ALL?

And I think you can take her outside but only for short periods of time and as long as shes supervised by you, she should be fine.

As long as she is vaccinated and all that you can take her outside after 2 months.
