Im buying a bike of my mate a mongoose bmx, for 30 quid but it has no breaks, how much would you say a full break system is and on average for a bike place to fit it?

Dunno, but if you take it down to your local bike/bmx store and ask them they should be able to be very helpful towards you.

To be honest - If it has no brakes - You would be better off buying a new bmx coz Bmx's aren't that expensive and Braking Systems can be quite expensive and not easily found unless you contact a dealer of parts..
