Default What is the definition of smart?!

    The title is my question.

My personal opinion is that being smart is being able to develop a new item/object that no one else has discovered. Something that no one else has thought of and/or attempted to try.

There is a difference between being "school smart" and "reality smart". School smart is like studying a lot and getting good marks. And reality smart is what I stated above, being able to discover something no one else has discovered.

What is your personal opinion on the word "smart"?

Be as specific as possible and do not chew each other's necks if you do not agree with them.
Luck is the only thing that nobody can ask for but everyone can get.

I didn't mean it literally...I meant like an opinion-based definition.

What you called "smart" would better be described as "innovative".

    My definition of smart is:
someone who is able to comprehend things far above the average level.

Like if you're in grade 8, you are able to understand things that are above average for your grade.

Also, I think all people are smart. Just some don't use their smartness wisely.
