The Sims 2 help???

Ok when I play I can only see my house. But in screenshots online they can see other houses:

Is there a way I can get this?

It's an addition that comes with Sims 2: Nightlife (I'm pretty sure it's Nightlife); it allows you to see (in crap graphics) the other houses, and you can switch between them. It lags up my PC though so I don't use it.

I have nightlife, how do I activate this feature?

alll this talk of Sims2 has made me reinstall mine, except my disk 1 is full of scratches so i've spent the last 30 minutes polishing it and getting it to work

It's in the options, have a look around. I never play sims 2 anymore as It got borng.
