    Default Official Fansite ripping our layout and saying we ripped it off them.

    Well the owner of www.habattack.com (he says it official) has stolen our layout and is saying its his and that I ripped it (He hasnt even got it up yet) and hes reporting us for ripping it. I know copywrite is auto in UK but he said it dosnt apply to him in the USA :S

    Erm, any ideas on what I can do?

    All cos I woulndt "Give" him our HabboWeen layout

    I have him on MSN. His name is Ryan.

    He use to own a retro, all I remember is his old retro joined up with snappo-hotel.

    Or is he like a 13 year old who has no idea about websites?

    Edit: our host sent them all our files including databases with every 1s data.

    I believe hes around 16, and no his site isnt official.

    He has also had some disputes with Habbo, a while ago his name were things like, " Habbo emailed me about my retro, they said ive done well, but not as well as them ". etc.

    Why would your host do tht?

    Oh g8, they also have our data bases with peoples emails, ips etc..
    Surely thats agaisnt the data protection act?

    USA has strict rules about sites. Don't let this moron trick you into giving him your stuff and never ever get hosted by an idiot like the one you got.

    You should see if you can sue the host because he gave away your information to another host without permission.
    Luck is the only thing that nobody can ask for but everyone can get.

    It was one of the tech staff. The actual owner if friends with our other Owner

    They have our un released layout so we have no proof its our layout:

    Should have encrypted the data into MD5 in the D/b. But, contact their host, that is against the data protection act I do believe.

    Contact their host, if nothing is done, take it to court, one problem is, your probably too young ;[
