    Exclamation The Latest Crazes

One of the main things that affect children, all over the world are all the latest ‘crazes’. They range from, the very popular ‘bands’ - to these plastic based strings called ‘Scoubidous’, they are twisted together using a wrapping motion.

Often within my school community, I have seen children giving there dinner money for these pieces of plastic. This is my personal opinion; “I think this is very harsh that friends are charging one another for them“. At the local store, it costs around £2 for a packet of 200! So it would be very easy for friends to share these ‘Scoubidous ’ .

I’ve done some research, and I come across these facts:
Each packet costs £2, for a pack of 200.
On E-bay, these ‘Scoubidous’ cost around £2 for a pack, and 50p for 3 ready made ones, which can be used as, key rings, bracelets or necklaces.
These ‘Scoubidous’ can take up to 2 hours to make.

These Scoubidous’s can also affect people mentally, and there behaviour. They can cause students, within school, to behave badly, they can be distracted, or they choose to talk about them and disturb lessons.

Of course they have some good points, I mean its great to talk about them in your free time, on Habbo, or on the playground. BUT: Make sure YOU don’t let these affect your behaviour in school or at home.

Firstly, I don't think that making them will affect your mental health... "\
Secondly, I don't think ANYONE should talk about them, buy them or even make them - They are stupid little things that have no significance to anything whatsoever. Stupid things.

If anything, I think they help in school. They make you concentrate more and keep you occupied, e.g when I was doing one in my R.E lesson, I felt although I was concentrating on making my keyring I was also paying more attention on my work. And the class behaved better as a whole, because normally that lesson isn't the best behave one and it sooooo much quieter!! And people weren't slacking off on listening to their work and stuff!
Lmao my teacher was like "Put them things away" and I was like "Oh miss, didn't you hear these are recommended for school by the government because we work better with them and that schools arn't allowed to ban them" And she totally fell for it she was like "Orite then, but as long as people doing them don't start talking to each other about them like, how do you start them off etc, and do some work you can do them"
And I wouldn't say they take 2 hours to make! more like 20 mins, 1 hour tops!

The latest craze in school's now is the Crazy Frog. Too many children at ages of 8 and 9 are getting Mobile Phones.

When elephants shall learn to fly, I shall believe in miracles.
