There is a safe spot in Taverly Dungeon where I can mage/range the Blue Dragons, but would I be able to use that to safely hit the dragons with a granite maul or a halbert?

Just wear a dragon fire shield and bring some anti-fire pots if you wanna fight them 1 on 1. Then they won't hit on you.

Thing is I'm only level 60 combat so they would most likely thrash me if I faced them lol.

If you have anti-fire shield and drink a anti-fre pot, they keep hitting 0's for about 10+ minutes per 1 dose. Then if they hit a 5 or something it means the pots worn off, so you just dirnk another dose.

And you can hally behind the egg and stuff.
