I just finished playing the Ratchet And Clank Future demo (blooming epic) , the SIXAXIS input is brilliantly done as well.

So anyway, Tony Hawk's series has always been the only skating game on the market, but ummm A NEW CHALLENGER ARRIVES in the form of EA's Skate. I played the demo of Skate a while ago, it was alright, but it was just missing that sense of KABEWM, BANG, OLLIE DA WIZZLE, WOOO U FLIPPED DA WIP, NAIL THE TRICK. Ya know what I mean? So I decided on getting Tony Hawk's Proving Grounds, because I think a simulation isn't very entertaining.

So this week's question

Who stands out this year, The Hawk? or The Simulation

I think that simulation can sometimes take the enjoyment out of it, skate just seemed too realistic for once, I did enjoy it but not as much as Project 8.

Skate is too hard like you need three hands to play that game. one hand to control where it goes another hand to do tricks and another hand to press the buttons . Tony Hawks Proving Ground was much more entertaining for me so i'm going to get Proving Ground

It makes you happy that you landed an ollie though, compared to hawks where you just have to press x

Skate is better for people who skate, or have skated. I love skate, it blows TH out of the water! Also, you dont need "three hands" You need left hand for turning and pushing, right hand for kicking and flipping/grabbing.

Personally, dont get TH, you press A to push and its always on speed, to fast.. Your character on Hawk jumps like, 80M High from a single ollie.

Skates more realistic, its about making lines out of anything, doing what you really would on a board, and the controlls for flips are how you would move your board eg, kickflip is
Down, flick to "2 o'clock", if you imagine 2 oclock on a clock, that position on the Analouge stick

Skate 9/10
THPG 4/10, its tony hawks, its only getting 4 because its tony hawks, the birdman, you gotta love him!
