Post Splur Studios - Turn Around

    Dear users,

We are pleased to announce that Splur Studios has had a major turnaround. This turn around includes positives and negitives. We have now got a new, coded website with a better design, however we have stopped our coding services.

    The step was taken to stop all coding services to reduce the staffing and focus the website more on Design, which I carry out. As we are now focusing on Design more, we have expanded our Design services. Our services now include;

    • Web design
    • Branding
    • Logo design
    • Corporate Stationery
    • Advertisements
    • Ecommerce sites
    • Magazines
    • Product Catalogues
    • Event publications
    • PR and sales copy
    • Books/Guides/Brochures/Booklets
    • Special publications
    • Marketing products
    • Fliers/Leaflets/posters
    • Downloadable ‘pdfs’ for Web use

On top of Design, on the side we are also offering Stock Photography. All our photography can be found in our Portfolio gallery. Our website is still being tweaked a little, so please do bare with us. We are currently working on imbedding the portfolio onto the main website, and adding our previous Design work onto the portfolio page. A project that Splur Studios is related to has been launched, and the PDF can now been downloaded from our Portfolio page - Issue Two launching November.

We are now accepting work, and projects at this moment in time can be carried out promptly. More information about Splur Studios, including our Portfolio and how to hire us for your project can be found at

    Thank you,

At least the layout isn't just one big picture anymore - there are signs of improvement!

That's the only sign of improvement I can see.

A new design would be good. You went for simplicity, but sadly you haven't pulled it off well. I dislike the background mostly. Also the fonts on the site are bad, try using a better one.

    Dear Invent,

I am sorry to hear this from you. We have had positive feedback from everyone else, therefore we are sticking with our current design. Our design was compared to other great templates, and we tried to fit it around other designs, to make the customers happy.

The font of the website is the default font used with Office 2007. Calibri is the font used, however your browser may be showing a different font if you do not have it installed.

If you would like to submit any other feedback, please email [email protected] and refrain from using this thread to post further feedback.

Just noticed a mistake in one of your banners, where it says "skys" instead of "skies"

You keep thinking like that (using fonts not every pc has) then you will get nowhere.

Jon, thanks for pointing this out. Was just spotted by myself, and I will change the banner in the morning.

Invent, we may invest in changing the font in the future. Anyone else have any constructive feedback about the site?
