Need a little rant, you probably won't care, but neither do I. Just helps to write it down

Visage (night club), last Thursday, college party. Got dancing with this lass and then ended up going with her, a few times. Got her number.
Being talking to her quite a bit since then. Even arranged to meet her next week (she lives outside my town, however not too far), now I find this little soppy **** from her college is doing a fair job of getting in there. Thought this was quite a good day for me aswell, made 'friends' with what was my 'arch enemy' - for lack of a better word - at college and now this.

He knows nobody and through my mates I know half the room.

What I don't get - girls always make out its the guys who are the ********, when, from what I've seen - largely to friends, not me, its the girls who are the ones that mess people around.... Not all mind, but a fair few....
