Well, I have finally decided I'm going for 99 mage. It will take 163.000 high alches but I'm going to do it! I'm just not sure how much it costs to do. This is assuming I buy nats and (Help me on what to buy) and make a certian amount per alch. Yes I expect to lose some money doing this. My current lvl is 82 and I have about 15M to spend. Plus rep for those who help on cost and what to alch.

most common thing to alch is yew longs, always people selling in bulks
if you buy nats & yew longs you will lose around 132gp per alchRep Points: 1065

Buy gold bars and make your own nats.
Alch them for 330 ea.
Or you could mine your own gold, get great smithing exp, mining exp, crafting exp, and alch gold BRACELETS for 330 ea.
Mining your own gold means you can buy your nats if you expect a very small profit. But why bother with tiny profit? Make your own nats.

I loose 60gp per alch.

i'd say the best way is too
Make your own nats (takes approx an hour per 1k using abyss so 163 hours)
Get almost 1.5m RC xp
Buy yew longs
(or buy supplies and trade supplies for longs gain a bit more profit or fletch yourself to gain lvls/xp)
Quite a lot of people are going for 99 fletching so there should be a lot of yew longs for sale.
Could try world 132 yanille for the longs i think thats the 'fletching guild' aint it.

Buy for 4.4k - 4.45k ea.
Alch for 4680 ea.
you lose 20-70 ea if you buy nats at 300 ea.
