i think after reading some, posts people can be racist and get it edited by mods to say *removed* but i think racist comments (no matter what habbox members) should have your account perm banned just my view

Yeah, harsher punishments for racism/sexism/homophobia/things like that sounds good to me. An infraction just doesn't have the same effect as it used to.

I agree tbh, not long ago, sum1 said summit racist to me but it was removed :S
Then they sent me an racist message, I forwarded it to a member of staff and that person got temp ban.I don't accept pm's, instead leave a message on my profile aka vistor message thing.
Rep means nothing to me, thats why I even say I dislike +reps.

i think its unfair to get a perm ban straight away depending on the context. if it was like a full blown racist comment then they should be banned, but if they didnt mean it seriously or didnt think it would be classed as a racist comment, then a warning is enough.

Well I know I wouldn't want anyone on the forum who purposely offended people because of something like their colour/sex/sexuality. I dont think a temp ban would have the same effect, any form of discrimination s unacceptable and imo habbox should be seen as zero-tolerance in that dept. Originally Posted by jrh2002

First perhaps the moderator could check with the person the comment was said to if they were offence or whether it was a personal joke between friends. But any form of discrimination should be perm ban.

I think someone being racist to cause offense should be taken off, and perm banned.
Someone putting their point across (not racist wise) should be allowed, eg for religion, sexual orientation etc. But not to offend people at all, just to put their point across.

that means racist people and sexist etc etc will be given a 2nd chance when its not right and you shouldnt joke about racism anyway so a warning or a temp ban isnt enough, a perm ban should be inforced upon any racism
