Getting An 360 Chipped

I was thinking the other day and I might buy a broken Xbox 360 off Ebay for around £20 - £40 then send it off to Microsoft for it to get fixed, I will then get this one chipped so I can get free games and keep my original xbox 360 unchipped so I can go on Xbox Live. If I use the HDD on my original Xbox in the chipped one I wont get banned will I? Just wondering...

no you wont get banned on your unmodded 360 just for puttin the hardrive on ...

Thanks didn't think I would, so just got to wait for the broke 360 to arrive now.
It's taken Microsoft 3weeks so far to fix my original 360 *groan*

thing is, yes its 2 quid games for the chipped one, but you still have to buy the game anyway if you want to go on xbox live with it.

Yeah, the ones on I want to go on live with I will buy, the ones I just want to play I will get for free.

My mate has his 360 flashed and still plays on Live. Dunno, if that's the same process you're talking about though.
