Argh help

I know i've posted about this a lot but its really hard.

Ok so basically, i've known this girl for a few years. I see her a lot and she lives at the top of my road. I really like her, the people round my area think i like her but i don't know if she likes me. What i'm afraid of is if she doesn't like me then our friendship is screwed. I see people who have asked their friends out and it works out bad and some great. One of my friends who is like sisters with the girl i like (really good friends) said i should ask her out but then another day after that, she talked about how it ended bad for her and her old bf and said i shouldn't ask her out. So i don't know about that.

If i do decided to ask her out though i would have no idea how to. I haven't really ever asked a girl out and it just seems really hard. I don't have much confidence so i don't think she'll even like me.

I think you should make a HUGE effort to get to know her, I know you already do but I mean get to a point were you are like best friends with her and then when your both comfortable ask her out but when you do dont make a big deal out of it, just ask her if you can have a word with her take her somewhere fairly private (round a corner) and just ask her and if she rejects you just make it seem like your fine if your not and that way you wont lose your friendship.

ARgh im really crap at acting and i do know her loads, ive seen her everyday for the past 2 weeks or so, and i generally see her on the weekends and we hang and stuff with a few others like all day. So i know her loads.. I just never know the right time to ask her though.. and what do i like say? :[

I always act nice to her, if my mate is going to punch her for a joke, ill just pull him back. Give hints n crap, and generally if shes outside then there is others aswell

Maybe you should try building up your confidence first. Then try & tell her how you feel when the time is right. Then basically, ask her out on the date but tell her you don't want this to ruin your friendship or anything.
