I wrote this for my best friend about.. 20ish minutes ago.. because she's been my best mate for 8 years.. and now she's moving schools

You've been my friend,
for eight long years,
I'm thankful to this day.
Now listen up,
and give a chance,
for me to say what I must say.

Our friendship is a flower,
with beauty all around,
We're the dynamic duo,
Laughter a common sound.

Sometimes we're like a storm,
full of rage towards each other,
But soon we will see the light,
and the fight? It will be over.

Together we are a pair of shoes,
Our soles a little broken.
Listen up! Your friendship is the
MOST valuable token.

As we go through our lives,
together we can overcome,
The obstacles that lie in our path,
I know we can get it done.

Our friendship is like a candy bar, very sugary and sweet,
One taste makes you happy,
This no one can defeat.

Our friendship takes,
some time to notice,
but really it's a treasure,
After you see through the fog,
It's something no one can measure

So thanks again,
for these eight long years,
I hope I can look foreword to many more.
If we continue
Our amazing friendship,
I know that we can soar.
